One of my favourite parts of making my wax melts is setting up our stall and markets and discussing our wax melts with you. Hearing your thoughts and answering your questions always gives me great joy, and lets me know that the community is really interacting with what we are doing.
Whilst chatting with you I have learned that one of the main questions you have relates to whether our wax melts can be reused time and time again. I know that we are all more conscious of avoiding products that can only be used once, and products that can be used multiple times are not only better for the environment but also for our pocket.
I therefore decided that I should write this blog post to help answer the question of whether our wax melts can be reused.
Can I reuse your wax melts?
For those of you who have ever bought wax melts from a major brand, supermarket, or bargain store, I understand your concern. Often these wax melts not only aren’t very strongly scented, they also lose their scent completely after a short period of time. If you have never bought from an independent small business you may think that all wax melts are like this.
Now, if there are two things I love it is high quality products, and value for money. Unfortunately I do not think you are getting either when you buy from chain shops. Initially the price is often very cheap, but the need to keep rebuying means you end up spending much more money in the long run.
This is why I tested and re-tested the way in which I make my wax melts to ensure that they remain at an affordable price whilst not compromising on quality.
When it comes to using our wax melts, we have genuinely had friends tell us that our wax melts last for too long and they are concerned that customers won’t need to buy from us again for a long time. What they didn’t know is that this is exactly what I was aiming for and something I take great pride in - giving you the best product possible rather than seeking to purely make money.
For this reason our wax melts can be remelted time and time again. Some of our customers have said that just one piece of our snapbars has kept releasing the same strong scent for a whole week! Another is still on their first bar after a month.
How do I reuse your wax melts?
Reusing our wax melts is easy. Once you turn off the wax burner, you can simply leave it to solidify and then once you want to release the fragrance again you simply turn the wax burner back on and allow the wax to melt.
If you wanted to change the scent you could simply turn off the wax burner and wait for the wax to solidify before removing that scent and placing it either back in its packaging or in a separate container before putting a different scented wax melt on the burner. The old wax melt could then be reused by placing it back onto the wax burner at a different time.
Reusing our wax melts really couldn’t be easier, and they will continue to release the same great scent time after time and that is something that I am really proud of and will continue to work to ensure never changes, meaning you can trust our products too be both high quality and incredible value.
