Market trading in Bristol

Hello and welcome to my blog! I'm so excited to share with you my passion for soy wax melts, scented candles, natural soap bars, and whipped soap. As well as this website, I also own a market stall called Wax and Scents UK, where I sell these amazing products that are handmade with love and care. I use only natural ingredients and eco-friendly packaging, and I have a range of fragrances to suit every mood and occasion.

Why I love being a market trader

I love being a market trader, because it gives me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and share my products with them. I also love exploring different markets in Bristol, which is such a vibrant and diverse city with a rich history and culture.

Some of my favourite markets in Bristol

There are so many markets in Bristol to choose from, each with its own unique charm and atmosphere. Here are some of my favourites:

- St Nicholas Market: This is the oldest and most famous market in Bristol, dating back to 1743. It's located in the heart of the Old City, inside a beautiful historical building called The Exchange. It has a huge variety of stalls selling everything from books and antiques to jewellery and clothing. It also has a food hall with stalls offering delicious cuisines from around the world. I love browsing through the stalls and finding hidden treasures here.
- Whiteladies Road Market: This is a community market that takes place every Saturday on Whiteladies Road in Clifton, one of the main shopping streets in Bristol. It's a great place to buy fresh and local produce, such as meat, fish, cheese, fruit and vegetables. It also has stalls selling artisan bread, cakes, pies, preserves, and more. I love supporting local farmers and producers here, and sampling their tasty products.
- Tobacco Factory Market: This is my favourite market in Bristol, and where I have a stall most Sundays. It's located at the Tobacco Factory, a former industrial building that has been transformed into a creative hub with a theatre, a bar, a cafe, and a co-working space. The market has around 40 stalls selling ethical and eco-friendly goods, such as art, craft, jewellery, clothing, homeware, plants, and of course, food and drink. It has a strong emphasis on sustainability and community spirit. I love being part of this market, because it's always buzzing with energy and creativity.
If you're ever in Bristol, I highly recommend you visit these markets and experience them for yourself. You'll find something for everyone here, whether you're looking for a gift, a treat, or just a fun day out. And if you do come by the Tobacco Factory Market on a Sunday, please stop by my stall and say hello! I'd love to show you my products and help you find your perfect scent.
